Unser letzter Tourtag führt uns wieder zurück zum Fährhafen nach Newcastle upon Tyne. Richtung Südostengenießen wir die letzten schönen Eindrücke der schottischen Landschaft. Bei zunächst noch wolkenbedecktem Himmel bleiben wir bei unseren letzten Meilen im Linksverkehr endlich mal vom Regen verschont.
Nach einer kurzen Besichtigung von Jedburgh Abbey, verbringen wir unsere kurze Mittagspause in einem kleinen, gemütlichen Kaffee in Jedburgh.
Frühzeitig am Nachmittag treffen wir an der Fähre ein. Vor und hinter uns diesmal ein paar mehr Motorradfahrer. Relativ zügig können wir die gebuchten und zugebuchten (siehe zum Thema Fähre auch bei "Extras") Kabinen beziehen und die Ausfahrt aus dem Hafen bei Sonnenschein und Bier in der Skybar genießen.
Our last day of the tour takes us back to the ferry terminal in Newcastle upon Tyne. Heading southeast we enjoy the last beautiful impressions of the Scottish landscape. With the sky still cloudy at first, we are finally spared the rain for our last miles in left-hand traffic.
After a short sightseeing of Jedburgh Abbey, we spend our short lunch break in a small, cozy coffee .
We arrive at the ferry early in the afternoon. Infront of us and after a short time a few more motorcyclists behind us this time. We can move into the booked and additionally
booked cabins
(look also at the subject of ferries under "Extras") relatively quickly and enjoy the exit from the port with sunshine and beer in the Skybar.
