Nach dem Frühstück fahren wir gegen 9:00 Uhr auf der Autobahn weiter Richtung Amsterdam, nach ca. 120 km verlassen wir die Autobahn und gönnen uns in Hilversum die erste Kaffeepause. Danach fahren wir auf Landstraßen in das Zentrum von Amsterdam. Hier fahren wir ein wenig entlang den schmalen Straßen der Grachten um dann nach kurzem halt weiter zur Fähre zu fahren.
Die Grenzformalitäten haben wir gegen 15:00 Uhr schnell hinter uns gebracht und sind wohl die ersten Motorräder an der Fähre und parken bei doch noch sehr warmen Temperaturen gerne im Schatten des großen Schiffes. Es dauert nicht lange und wir werden von einem Fährbediensteten zur Einfahrt in den Bauch des Schiffes aufgefordert. Vorbei an mehreren LKW fahren wir vor bis neben den ersten LKW der direkt vor der Bugklappe steht.
After breakfast, we ride on the highway at 9:00 clock towards Amsterdam, after about 120 km we leave the highway and treat ourselves in Hilversum the first coffee break. Then we ride on country roads in the center of Amsterdam. Here we ride a short distance along the narrow streets of the canals, after a short stop we continue to the ferry.
The border formalities we have done quickly around 3 pm and are probably the first motorcycles at the ferry and park at still very warm temperatures in the shadow of the big ship. It doesn't take a long time and we are invited by a ferry operator to enter the belly of the ship. Past several trucks, we ride up to next to the first truck which stands directly in front of the bow door.
